Debra Marie Brown (Neve)

Debra passed away peacefully at home, with her loving husband by her side, on December 30, 2024, she was 73 years old.
Debra was born on December 25, 1951 to Aileen (Raineri) and Anthony Neve, in Lawrence, MA. She graduated high school in Lawrence, MA. For 25 years she worked as an electro-mechanical and rework operator on the Patriot Air Defense system for the Raytheon Company. For a period of time during her tenure at Raytheon she
also served as shop steward for IBEW Local 1505. She later earned an Associates Degree in Legal Studies at Nashua Community College, from there she went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Constitutional History and Government, with a minor in Women's Studies. She did not stop there; she then earned a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. While studying mental health she diagnosed her husband with every malady, syndrome and mental health issue known to human kind,
but he survived!
She volunteered with CASA, putting her legal studies expertise to work. She also volunteered with Bridges and manned their emergency hotline as part of her mental health studies and service. She worked with Gateways social services upon
graduation. When retired she volunteered at the Nashua Senior Activities Center, she like "talking and laughing" with the old people, even though by then she was an "old people" herself.
She is survived by her brother Thomas (Tom) Neve and many aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Debra was predeceased by her parents; Aileen and Anthony Neve, her brother Anthony "Butchy" Neve and her sister Leslie Neve.
Debra had, what one of her care givers called, "a huge personality". She was able to endear her self to others very easily because she also had a very hardy and endearing laugh.
Her son Joshua T. Neve passed away on January 28, 2025 in San Diego, CA. He was 49 years old.
A memorial service, honoring both Debra and Joshua, will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 11 AM, at Main St United Methodist Church, 154 Main St, Nashua, NH.
