Lucille Marie Murrell, 74, of Shirley, MA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Sturgill Care Center in Brooksville, FL. Born and raised in Worcester, MA, Lucille resided for several years in Worcester and Manchester, NH. Upon meeting her beloved
husband, Lucille & Jim relocated to Shirley, MA.
Lucille earned her Associates Degree from Clark University and her Bachelors of Science degree from New Hampshire College and held several titles during her employment including Supervisor and Director positions.
She enjoyed traveling and would love to spend time with her family and friends and Lucille especially enjoyed the beach and the pool. Lucille was an avid reader and she enjoyed going out to lunch and dinner. She had such a love for children and animals and especially her cats, Bubba & Inky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Lorraine (Benoit) Audette; her husband James "Jim" Edmunds; and by 2 sisters-in-law, Melody Johnson and Ronlyn Bauer and by several Aunts and Uncles. She will be forever loved and missed by her 2 sons: Joseph "Joe" Murrell and his wife, Denise, and Robert "Bob" and his wife Evelyn; 2
stepdaughters: Jessica Wilson and her husband Jason and Dawn Edmunds and her partner, Mark Poitras; 4 grandchildren: Robert John "Johnnie" & Diana Murrell; Cherish Nalewajek and her spouse Brandon and Anastasia "Ana" Murrell; 6 step-grandchildren: Brittany Horbatiuk, Christina & Nicholas Cronin, Winona Edmunds, Randy Ouellette & Nicholas Tylor Wilson; 3 step-great grandchildren; Angelica Theriault and Liberty & Layla Ford and their father Rufus Ford; 2 brothers: Leo and his wife Judith "Judi" and Francis "Fran" and his wife JoAnn; 1 sister, Denise Cunningham and her husband John; brother-in-law, Donald "Don" and his wife Sandra "Sandy" Edmunds; 2 brothers-in-law, Jerry Johnson and Edward "Ed" Bauer, several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, friends and by her best friend, Kathe Dumont.
