Peace, RevKelly RESCHEDULED - The Worship Team is excited to begin planning our worship series for the rest of this year and the beginning of 2026.  Our Worship Design Retreat is NOW being held on Saturday, August 30 from 9AM - 3PM in the Vestry.  Anyone can attend, just let the office know so we can make sure we have enough food.   If you are unable to attend, we have lined one of the Vestry walls with all the worship series available to choose from  It looks like a lot, but believe us, your input is necessary in this process.  Please take some time to read the brief description of each and just add a color dot (stickers provided) to the one(s) you would like to see us do. We are excited to see what you think and look forward to our upcoming planning session. We voted to have the Trustees move forward with installing Solar on our building.  We still need your support.  If you'd like to add your pledge to our solar campaign mission, click the link below!  We will continue to keep you posted on the progress of this impactful project! The necklace with the blue and white stone was a retirement gift from a biology student. My mother asked our Presbyterian minister to make me the geode necklace decades ago. Great job, all! We will be driving Pop to the Appler Reunion on the weekend of the Food Pantry, so we are counting on you to make the pantry work yet again.  Setup begins at 2, and the pantry will be open from 2:30 to 4.  It's great to have such a wonderful group!   Claudia has been doing a great job checking folks in, but she has some job changes coming up and wants to make sure that there is a backup in case she has to work on the third Sunday.  If you could come on August 17 and learn the computer check in position, please let me know. Weeknight meals have also gotten very busy lately.  If you want to volunteer at some extra times like breakfast (before work!) or dinner or packing backpacks, or maybe an extra shift in the food pantry during the week, go to the NSKS Volunteer Hub and choose your event and sign up.  https://nsks.volunteerhub.com/vv2/ And be sure to let me know whether you are able to help on August 17 or if you would like to learn to check folks in on the computer.
