Each year, over a billion people around the world celebrate earth day through acts of service and worship.
This year, Creation Justice Ministries is hosting an ecumenical service that you can join from anywhere. Join Christian siblings from across theological traditions to celebrate Earth Day and worship the Creator.
We hope that you are able to join us for this short service of prayer to celebrate the Creator and all of creation!
On behalf of United Women in Faith (UMW), a big thank you to everyone who brought in items for Family Promise. Pam Breniser, Phyllis Appler and Cheryl Merrill are in the photo in front of Family Promise with Matt Hodgkiss, Director of Volunteer Engagement and Operations. We were able to deliver 59 rolls of paper towels, 96 rolls of toilet paper, 236 individual diapers, 1664 individual baby wipes, and almost 3 gal. of laundry detergent! Matt gave us a tour of their great facility that can house 24 families. He invited us to schedule a tour any time for others that would like to go. It was very interesting.
We Need Your Voice
Did you know that the Elm Street Middle School property will soon be repurposed?
The City of Nashua would like your feedback on potential uses for the property. Please take the survey and send the links to your friends with interest in the area between March 30 and Apr 30, 2022.
We are continuing to welcome donations for our Easter Tree of Life. Animals and/or plant donations can be made by filling out a gift form located in the lobby, as well as from the Mainstreeter or Blast and sending it or bringing it to church. You can even give online at:
Hi Everyone, For our April 20th UWF (formerly UMW) meeting, we will be working on collecting items for 2 buckets of cleanup kit items for UMCOR. You may purchase items and bring them to the meeting or drop them off at church during office hours or on Sunday. There will be a labeled bin in the lower lobby. Knowing you have had plenty of other opportunities for donations during Lent, we are stretching this out from the beginning of April through May 1. If we need to extend the end date, we can do so.
Thank you to Laura Graudons, who has graciously set up a very cool sign up program for us, in the link provided below. You just check off the item/s you intend to buy. You will notice there is a cash item at the end of the list to check off if you would like to donate money and have someone else shop for you. If you prefer to write a check it should still be made out to MSUMW as our checking account is under the old name.
Bring us your used computers, laptops, phones, printers, and other tech items to be recycled. Not only will this help the environment, but the funds raised will also go to the United Way of Greater Nashua's School Supplies program. Rid yourself of clutter and help children prepare for the future.
Accepted items and suggested fees. See link below for more details. Contact the United Way if you are interested in volunteering for this event.
