Why is returning an Estimate of Giving or Pledge Card important?

By completing and returning a pledge card, you are expressing your intent and affirming your desire to honor God with your resources. Returning your card not only fulfills your membership vows, it connects you to the greater body of Christ committed to being the church with a heart in the heart of Nashua. And pledges make it possible for our church to plan and implement ministries without hesitation. Knowing your plans allows wise management of resources throughout the year. All ministries our church implements are dependent on the generosity of God's people.

And what better time is there to be committed to being the church -- to living together into God's call for a more just world? I'm grateful this week for such a place of spiritual centeredness and social witness. This place that is intentional about its welcome, nurture, disciple, and serve.

When you return your pledge card it will remain confidential and is not a legally binding contract. It is your personal commitment to the Lord. If your situation changes and you would like to increase or decrease your estimate, call the church office or speak with our financial secretary Barry LeBlanc.

The Missions team is once again collecting "Birthday in a Bag" donations to benefit the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter this holiday season. We are collecting new or gently used birthday bags, filled with what families can use for a birthday party (cake mix, frosting, candles, oil, table cloths, party favors, etc.). We can help bring joy to families this holiday season with a birthday bag they can use while not having to worry about how they can afford to celebrate their loved one on that special day.

Downtown Nashua Street Closures for the Winter Holiday Stroll

and Complimentary Shuttle Information

Nashua, NH – The City of Nashua announces the following street closures for the

2024 Winter Holiday Stroll happening in downtown Nashua, NH, on Saturday,

November 30th from 4 – 9 p.m.

Cars must be moved off of Main Street by 2 p.m. on Saturday November 30th

in preparation for the complete street closures. Cars that remain on the closed

streets will be towed.

There is no parking on Orange Street starting at 2 p.m..
There is no parking on West Pearl from Elm to Main Street starting at 2 p.m.

Road Closures starting at 10 a.m.:

High Street between Main Street and the taxi stand, 10 a.m.

Road Closures starting at 2 p.m.:

Main Street between West Hollis and Amherst Streets, 2 p.m.
Eldridge Street between Main and Spring Streets, 2 p.m.
West Pearl Street between Main and Elm Streets, 2 p.m.
East Pearl Street between Main and Spring Streets, 2 p.m.
Factory Street between Main and Mechanic Streets, 2 p.m.
Water Street between Main Street and the entrance to French Renaissance
Park, 2 p.m.
Franklin Street between Main and Front Streets, 2 p.m.
Clinton Avenue and Railroad Square, 2 p.m.

These street closures will remain in effect until at least midnight to allow for

sweeping and cleaning.

Transportation and Parking:

Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service,

generously provided by the City of Nashua Transit System and First Student,

available at the following locations:

Holman Stadium with continuous Shuttle Service running 3:00p.m. – 9:30

p.m. dropping off at the top of Clinton Street near Library Hill (ADA

compliant busses)

Memorial Hall at Rivier University with continuous Shuttle Service running

3:00p.m. – 10:00 p.m. dropping off near the Transit Center on Garden Street

behind the Santander parking lot.

Saturday, April 12th, 1975 - Saturday, November 23rd, 2024

Beloved teacher at Nashua High School South, passed away suddenly. Pastor Kelly Turney and Deacon Kristy Besada will be presiding over the services on Saturday, November 30th at Davis Funeral Home.

Our condolences go out to his parents, Harold and Deborah Gray who were previous members of MSUMC, and many other family, friends and his students at Nashua High.

Believe it or not, it's already time to think about ordering Poinsettias for the Christmas Holiday. Order forms are due in the Office by Monday, December 2nd to ensure we can get what is needed. Order forms are located in the Connector Lobby and the price is the same as last year. Please contact Jodi in the Office if you have any questions.
